Ewoks the Caravan of Courage
One day, Maze and his sister, Cindel ’s star cruiser crashed in the middle of a strange wood which was home to the Ewoks . The Ewoks see a shining object in which Cindel is trapped inside. When they free her, Maze comes and tries to attack them. The Ewoks then bring Maze and Cindel to the village to have some soup with bread and a drink after hearing their story. After eating, they tell the Ewoks they have to find their parents . Suddenly, Cindel falls sick. Maze and the Ewoks journey to a medicinal tree which only Ewoks know .When the Ewoks are filling up the bottle with the medicine, Maze sees a strange thing in a hole in the tree. He puts his hand in the hole and a big snake bites his hand. Maze screams in fright and shouts for help.
The Ewoks heard him and rushed to help him. After that , they go back to the village to give the medicine to Cindel and Maze. When they reach the village , the Ewoks pour the medicine into a mug. Cindel drinks it and gets better. They then go to the wise wok of the village to seek help in rescuing the children’s parents. The wise Ewoks tells them the children ’s parents are being held captive by the evil ogre named Gorax.
He also tells them that no Ewoks have ever returned from the mountains where Gorax lived. He then gives them magical tools which were used by the Ewoks ancestors. They were also told to ask some of the Ewoks they might meet on their way to help them. On their way , they met Christopher, the brave woodcutter. Then they met Alden , the wise monk . They persuaded both of them to help them in their search. They stopped to rest near a magical lake . As they were having lunch, Maze touched the water with his hand and suddenly he fell into the water . He cried for help. The Ewoks and Cindel helped him out of the water using a magical stick. After a few days, they finally reached the mountain where Gorax lived.
The entrance was covered with a boulder that only a giant such as Gorax could lift . They were losing hope when Maze suddenly remembered he had a gun with him. He took out his gun and shot the boulder. The boulder split into two and broke into pieces. They went in and see a big gorge and there was a bridge made of spider web . They walk on the bridge carefully and reach the other side. They then see a cage in which their parents were trapped inside. They make a plan to make a see-saw and jump to the top to free their parents when Gorax was not looking . Maze jumps and reaches the cage and climbs in through the bars .
They free their parents and run off with them . They reach the entrance to the cave and run out . Finally their family was reunited once more. Their father fixed the star cruiser in a few weeks and finally they went home . They were very sad to leave their new friends but were very happy to be back home .
